GRADUATION 2017 CEREMONY AND DINNER DANCE INFORMATION

CEREMONY: 
Thursday, June 22nd, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. D’Arcy McGee gymnasium

Only students with the potential to graduate with a Ministry High School Diploma will be entitled to partake in this ceremony.  These decisions are made after term two.

CEREMONY GUESTS:                      
Six guests per graduate.  Tickets cost: $3.00 per guest and will be sold in May.  All tickets must be purchased in advance of ceremony.

COMPULSORY GOWN RENTAL:        
In April 2016, students are to see Ms. Arens in room 161 to reserve their graduation gowns.  The fee for this rental is $20.00 and will be collected upon ordering; this includes cap and tassel purchase.  This fee includes the cost of the graduation ceremony booklets, plaques and special award gifts.

VALEDICTORIAN:      
To be nominated by students and staff members.

DINNER DANCE:        
Wednesday, June 28th, from 6:00 p.m. -12:00 a.m.
Hilton Lac-Leamy Hotel
3 Boulevard du Casino, (Hull) Gatineau
6:00 - 6:30 p.m.
Non-alcoholic punch, cold and hot appetizers
7:00 – Midnight:  Dinner and Dancing

TICKET PRICE:          
The cost for this event is approximately $80.00 per person.  This includes: plated dinner, taxes, service, music, three hours of photo booth use, and security.  Tickets must be purchased in advance and will go on sale at the beginning of May. Tables will be reserved for a maximum of 8 students.  Parents and relatives are welcome if seating is still available at the beginning of May 2016.  Table reservations will not be changed once selected.  No late admissions will be permitted after the dinner.  Tickets can be purchased by cheque (addressed to the school), cash or debit/interact payment.

Hilton Lac-Leamy Catering Menu Features:

  • Variety of hot and cold appetizers, punch
  • Soup
  • Green salad
  • Meat and vegetarian option will be offered as a meal choice.
  • Alternatively:  Ravioli, roasted tomato and pesto sauce, market-fresh garnish
  • Dessert: Seasonal cake served with regular and decaffeinated coffee and selection of teas.  (Please note menu options may change slightly due to seasonal availability as all ingredients are fresh, however a full meal including soup, salad, main meal with sides and dessert will be served).

The consumption or possession of alcohol or drugs will not be tolerated at this event.
