Reflecting on Last Year

By. Oshanna Duffy-Stuart

Last year Darcy's cross country team was run by Mr. Mac and Mr. Boushell. The team ran after school, a few days of the week. The team normally ran5k each day they ran. The runners were also asked to run on their own time. There was around 15 students running on the cross country team. The cross country team did two competitions throughout the year. One at the start of the year then they took a brake for the winter. Once they started running again, it was to get ready for the Grand Défi. It's the biggest race our school does in the year. The Grand Défi lasted around 36 hours and was 270km long. This year Mr. Mac and Mr. Boushell will be running cross country again. They hope to see a nice turn out. So if you are interested in running make sure to try out for cross country.
